SOCIAL SCIENCE DIVISION

Our Division provides an array of courses that can satisfy the general education and transfer requirements for students. We offer a variety of transfer and A.A. degree programs, ranging from History and Philosophy to Political Science and Economics. In addition, we also have Certificate Programs in Human Services and in Geographical Information Systems. As the latter might suggest, technology plays an important and growing role in many of our courses, whether as a focus of high-tech training or simply as a means to bring more traditional subject matter alive in the classroom. Our faculty strive to provide challenging and relevant courses that will prepare you for your future careers and life goals. The faculty and counselors will gladly answer questions that may help you make informed decisions about what courses to take for you to meet your personal goals.
