CYPRESS COLLEGE GIS CERTIFICATE PROGRAM

GEOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION SYSTEMS TECHNICAL PROGRAM

UNIQUE DESIGN

Our GIS Certificate Program has a very unique design. It permits you to select a project associated with your current interests, field of study, work experience, or current work responsibilities. You may then develop your personal project throughout the series of GIS courses. During the process, you must demonstrate the necessary GIS technical skills required at each level. Our unique design permits you to learn GIS, while complementing your knowledge of your own chosen field of study or interest.
ANOTHER UNIQUE FEATURE

Our GIS Certificate Program allows you to study any career or academic subject you wish! Rather than creating special "GIS" courses which only duplicate subjects and skills already taught in our academic courses, you may apply our regular, fully transferable courses to your certificate. The academic courses included in our Certificate Program already encompass the skills and knowledge you will need for the comprehensive, academically rigorous knowledge necessary in this new, dynamic field. No need to take a large series of special courses, which usually cannot be utilized in any other context.
