Field Geography - Physical This is a one unit course that includes 18 hours of lecture in the field and requires the completion of, or concurrent enrollment in Geography 102. This course is an introduction of field observation techniques in map interpretation, weather and climate, surface and underground water, flora and fauna, soils, rocks and minerals, weathering, mass wasting and erosion, landforms, and the interrelationships of these physical phenomena. Practical application of geographic observation techniques will take place in the field. Also, see our section on Field Trips. |
