Welcome to the Intro to Philosophy Slide Show Page!
Note: These Slide Shows are NOT for my Online Sections. Slide Shows for my traditional course differ dramatically and are not recommended for online students.
This page will be our secondary reference area for our readings. Included below are a series of slide shows that will roughly parallel items we cover in class. These are not required viewing since we will already view and discuss them in class. It is not advised that you write down everything that we cover in a slide show in class. Critically thinking about the topics we cover requires that you actively engage in the lecture and discussion. You can always review the slide shows here if you feel you missed something in class. I have also included the primary arguments from the slide shows in our Study Guides. I will note these study guides next to each slide show.
Warning: Slide Shows will not substitute for material covered in class since we will be going over other material there as well skipping certain slides as time permits. These are only meant as a guide in case you need further elaboration on a topic. I strongly suggest viewing each series only after having finished each reading.
